21st century skills are essential for our students to be future ready. Foreign languages classrooms can and should play an important role to cultivate these skills in students. This presentation is going to introduce and demonstrate what 21st century skills are and look like in a foreign language classroom. It will also demonstrate how these skills can be implemented into daily learning activities, assessments, and grading practices. Examples from foreign language classrooms will be presented and discussed in this presentation.
